California Electric Homes Program – CalEHP

The California Electric Homes Program (named in statutes as the Building Initiative for Low-Emissions Development Program Phase 2 by Assembly Bill 137) will provide incentives for the construction of all-electric market-rate residential buildings and installation of energy storage systems to encourage deployment of near-zero-emission building technologies. California’s Residential Green Building Standards & Checklist

The Department of Housing & Community Development has put together a 16-page checklist covering the mandatory minimum green building standards for new single-family homes and apartments. These standards took effect on 1/1/20. For access to the checklist, click here.
